  • Triple fold boom design for accurate distance control and maneuverability
  • The boom structure and base are mounted on the front of the truck
  • The boom plumbing is constructed with stainless steel and wear-resistant poly pipe for extreme durability and low maintenance design

  • Custom boom cylinders are hard plumbed to locking valves for fail-safe operation

INFINITY SERIES BOOM TRUCK ENGINE REQUIREMENTS

  • Engine must follow J1939 protocol (preferred) or mechanical injection
  • J1708 and J1587 protocol engines can only be run with manual over control boxes
    • If the specified engines above are not used, (not recommended) the manual box must be supplied by the customer and the engine must be run with the control box installed prior to the engine’s delivery to Bazooka Farmstar

65′ INFINITY SERIES BOOM TRUCK STANDARDS

  • Swiveling discharge
  • Weight – system adds approximately 30,000 lbs. to truck
  • Length behind cab – 25′
  • Deck width – 100″
  • Height – 13′
  • 65′ boom length (63′ reach from driver’s side of the truck)

65′ INFINITY SERIES BOOM TRUCK REQUIREMENTS

  • Front axle with 12,500 lb. minimum capacity 
  • Rear tandems must be able to support 33,000 lb. minimum
  • Double frame rail construction
  • 175″ from the center of tandems to the rearmost point of the cab/exhaust stacks
  • Frame must extend 7′ behind tandems
    • Frames can be stretched for an additional fee
    • Extra charges may be incurred if the truck needs excessive modification for mounting

65′ INFINITY SERIES BOOM TRUCK HYDRAULIC PACKAGES

  • Weight – system adds approximately 36,000 lbs. to customer supplied truck
  • Length behind cab – 38’
  • Deck width – 100”
  • Height – 13’
  • 85′ boom length (83′ reach from driver’s side of the truck)

85′ INFINITY SERIES BOOM TRUCK REQUIREMENTS

  • Front axle with 18,000 lb. minimum capacity 
  • Rear tandems must be able to support 42,000 lb. minimum
    • Tag axle or special permitting may be required
  • Double frame rail construction
  • Frame height no greater than 40″ (top of rear frame rails to ground)
  • Suspension needs the ability to adjust tension/height of driver’s side due to offset loading
  • Requires 175” from the center of tandems to rearmost point of cab/exhaust stacks
  • Requires a 10K steerable drop tag axle 70″ behind the rearmost tandem axle
    (center to center)
  • Frame must extend 30’ behind the rearmost point of the cab
    • Frames can be stretched for an additional fee
    • Extra charges may be incurred if the truck needs excessive modification for mounting

85′ INFINITY SERIES BOOM TRUCK HYDRAULIC PACKAGES

  • Main Pump – Cornell 6819MPC
  • Engine – JD 13.5L (max 600 HP) or CAT C18 (max 780 HP) with rear pump drive

This data was taken when pumping water with an 80′ Infinity Series Boom Truck equipped with a 600 HP John Deere engine.
